Clinical Psychologist in Kent - Nic Nistor
For years I have been working with people that struggle with anxiety, worries, trauma, low mood, fear of others, suspiciousness, and paranoia.
Sometimes people struggle to be around others, make friends, worrying about being judged or rejected, feeling down and hopeless. Other times people had a breakdown, were involved with mental health services or had a diagnostic of a serious mental health problems.
What my clients tend to have in common is that they feel different from others, that others are against them, they struggle with their social life, and they struggle to seek help due to stigma and fear of being judged. They may have tried other services but have been disappointed in one way or another.
I pride myself on working effectively with a wide range of difficulties. I am highly trained and fully qualified Clinical Psychologist, with extensive experience in the NHS and in independent practice, offering private psychological therapy in Rochester, Kent and online sessions to individuals across the UK.
I have over 10 years of experience as a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist within the NHS. At present, I work as a Lead Clinical Psychologist in community adult mental health team with people experiencing first episode psychosis.
I am an open-minded clinical psychologist who works collaboratively with his clients to identify and build on strengths, values and resources whilst working towards positive change. My aim is to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space.
I speak both English and Romanian.
